2026 Event Details by Day

Friday:

  • 8:00am: Camping move in

  • 1:00pm: Racer / Spectator gates open

  • 1:00-5:00pm: Drag Race Tech - Once tech closes, we CANNOT tech your car

  • 1:00-4:00pm: Skid pad tech (in skid pad pits)

  • 2:00-3:00: Skid pad practice

  • 4:00pm: Test & Tune Starts

  • 5:00pm: Cash Shootout racers drivers meeting & chip draw

  • 5:15pm: 1st Round Cash Shootout & 1st Round Lil Gangstas

  • 6:00pm: Skid pad qualifying

  • ~11:00pm: Gate 2 Drag Strip gate closed - Exit north camping exit

Saturday:

  • 10:00am: Car show gates open (PLEASE DON’T COME EARLY)

  • 11:00am-12:00pm: Skid pad practice

  • 12:00pm: Spectator gates open

  • 1:30pm-5:30pm: Car Show Judging (your car must be parked during this time to be judged)

  • 2:00pm-5:00pm: Skidpad Finals for $10,000!

  • 5:00pm: Puppy Party at the concert stage (Pending weather being cooler than 90 degrees)

  • 6:30pm: Car Show Awards on the drag strip

  • 6:00pm: Car show north exit gate closed (exit at south gates only)

  • 7:30pm: No Prep Race - Round 1

  • 8:15’ish: Jet Car & Fireworks

  • ~12:00am: Gate 2 Drag Strip gate closed - Exit north camping exit

Sunday:

  • 10:00am: Racer Gates

  • 10:00am -12:30pm: Tech Opens - Once tech is closed we CANNOT tech your car

  • 11:00am: Roll racer drivers meeting at roll race starting line

  • 12:00pm: Spectator Gates

  • 12:30pm: Drag Racers drivers meeting at the tower

  • 1:15pm: Drag Racing Qualifying Round 1 with test & tune in between

  • 4:00pm: POWER SKIDS (final parade lap of street car cruise)

  • 4:20pm: Round 1 of class eliminations

  • 7:30pm: Joe Hunt Memorial BURNOUT CONTEST!

All Admission is PRE-REGISTER ONLY this year so we can speed up entry at the gate

(GAS) MOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION (across the whole facility) are prohibited this year due to the increased amount of dense foot traffic and repeat safety issues year after year.

  • Narrow forms of non-gas powered transportation are allowed (scooters & bicycles).

  • Mobility scooters (not golf carts) are allowed for handicapped individuals.

  • ONE golf carts / ATV is allowed as racer transportation (pushing or drivers meeting).

  • Drivers of golf carts/ATV’s/powered vehicles must be licensed driver, NO MINORS may operate golf carts/ATV’s/powered vehicles.

  • 5 MPH speed limit is in effect during the whole weekend.

Ice Cream Cruise is the Midwest's craziest race track car show festival, packed with 3 days of non-stop entertainment at I29 Speedway! Each year, Ice Cream Cruise selects a local non-profit to donate the proceeds of ICC merchandise sales to. To date, Ice Cream Cruise has donated over $600,000 back into the local community!

You MUST buy your tickets online in advance! Cash at the gates will not be accepted.

FAQs

  • If you are bringing a car on a trailer, you MUST unload your car in the trailer parking (south end of the track) before driving onto the road course car show area. Enter the facility at the south-east corner where trailer parking is. You can drop your truck and trailer as early as Friday @ 2:00pm

  • For questions or issues with pre-registration, please contact sales@1320video.com

  • NO. To avoid parking and traffic issues, we require that ALL attendees pre-register for the event. This means you will need to buy your tickets online in advance and will not be admitted without an electronic ticket.

  • VIP car show pre-selection has already happened, you may be selected day-of when you drive in the gate, no other method of selection are possible, please don’t message us.

  • Day of the show there is no "registration" needed for the car show when you arrive other than purchasing admission and being parked within the hours listed on the schedule above.
